Love most of Carl Hiassen's books. Great characters and fun plots. Hard to translate into rpgs, unless you have the right group.

As soon as I was able, I picked up Dicey Tales Adventures #1 as well. Wonderfully fleshes out Gamboa Station and provides all sorts of hooks for PCs to get snagged on!
