So I picked up the Thundarr the Barbarian bluray set as I couldn't find it on any streaming service I'm on and naturally I started to wonder if there was any mod specifically for a post-apocalyptic technosorcery style game with BoL. I saw that Everywhen had setting specific rules for various genres but then I discovers Barbarians of the Aftermath which seemed from the description to be a perfect. Has anyone played this variant/setting and, if so, any thoughts on the experience? I didn't see a thread on this product so figured I'd start one. It seems to have some positive feedback over on dtrpg.

Sadly I have never played this game, but I do have it and have read the rules for it. I like the idea of being able to build your post-apocalyptic world by rolling it up!

I didn't even know that was an option there! I was more salivating at the idea of rolling up a robot to go along with a barbarian and sorcerer, lol.

I have a copy of BotA but, like Gundarr_the_Great, have not had the opportunity to actually play it. I do feel that it is a great toolkit with lots of options and rules to help make apocalyptic settings. I often reference the book when I'm looking for ideas.

Thanks and I'll try and take a closer look then given the good reviews.
