Good! Can you think of a way that affected the heroes after the previous event? A distress call? Intercepting acolytes and learning of the plot by mistake?

Through their magic, I think the acolytes of Ku-Aya learn the identity of One-Eyed Norf as the one who was responsible and set out after him to make him pay. Madame Loviise can send a distress call to our heroes to warn them.

Okay, I got another Subject Positive. This time, we’ll say it’s focused more on One-Eyed Norf. Meaning: Return Project.
Hmm… it sounds like Norf was enticed to return to the scene of the crime for some unfinished business. Maybe the two managed to evade the acolytes and Norf returned to pay Loviise a debt of gratitude for warning them of trouble. It turned out *well* for One-Eyed’s one eye (wink, wink), but I suspect it also turned into an opportunity of some lucrative task she presents the pair. Which leads them to the next event…

The next one is Subject Positive
Action Meaning Table: Energize Peace
I will repay the favor and say this one is for Valda, with her goal of tracking down Alrak Gim. Madame Loviise is able to provide some information on what she knows about the minstrel since he has been a patron at her brothel on several occasions. She provides Valda with a good idea of where she might find him, and this gives her a sense of relief as she is ever closer to her quest for vengeance.

Nice! The next one is Close a Thread (or A New Thread). I like randomness, so I'm going to roll for it... it says pick, so the most interesting one for me is the Acolytes of Ku-Aya. Meaning: Deceive Interior. It looks like Loviise was not to be trusted after all! She struck a deal with the Acolytes only to lead them directly to our adventurous heroes as they sought Alrak Gim. In a deplorable watering hole in (where is the brothel?), the acolytes, disguised by sorcery, spring a trap on the two. Valda, driven by her purpose, falls first for the ruse, but One-Eyed Norf is the wiser and recognizes the sorcery. A great battle ensues. The drinking establishment is engulfed in flames, Valda is wounded, but the followers of Ku-Aya are no more!

Say it ain't so! No wonder why she was able to keep the services of Lustful Liridona! Who knows maybe Loviise was just magically influenced...although these are acolytes so they may not be that sophisticated in their magic yet.
Btw, the brothel of the Loving Embrace is in Parsool, but Madame Loviise was the one who came to deliver the message herself, making her more involved in the deception, whether magically influenced or not!

The next one is NPC action or New NPC
Meaning: Celebrate value
Let's add a new character to the mix, by having Norf take Valda to a healer that he knows...
Appearance: Dirty & Rough
Identity: Ruffian Laborer
Seeing that Valda is hurt, One-Eyed Norf turns to a former thief that he knew in the Ragged Knaves, who now works as a healer for hire named Nee Ahgfer. She falls for his charming words into providing her services for free, well almost for free.....

Awesome. Can you add an action meaning to see if that new NPC also pushes things in a direction? One element can tell us many things if we want, or we can just roll it into the next event.

Okay, but then… NPC Action (Wild Bora) — Inquire Hope
As the duo set out on the trail of Alrak Gim before it goes cold, a ship pulls into port. Norf learns that Wild Bora has been tracking him and has put together a crew worthy to bring him down and exact revenge. It seems Valda’s wounds kept the pair too long in one place. Valda grows fond of One-Eyed Norf, knowing what he has sacrificed to be slowed down by her misfortunes, all for friendship it seems.
