Thanks Gruntfuttock for the friendly advice and reply. I am not sure really, it was just an idea crossing my mind, and while settings are definitively different, I felt inclined to adapt it to BoL as I am not too keen anymore of complex systems and what I intend to acomplish is nearly more easily done with BoL. Not to mention the heroic part merged well with BoL's hero points. The last bit, regarding hero balance and setting's harshness, sounded a bit odd, as I wouldn't think BoL is only fit for a Conan-esque setting, but perhaps I need to give it some more thought before I embark on it, and I have defintively haven't run those many games of BoL, so I would value your advise here.
Anyway, thanks, will let you know if I get on it

Hi there, I hope I am posting this in the "more-or-less-appropriate" thread.
I recently got an itch to run the first adventures in The Enemy Within, but then I looked at WFRP system and felt all lazy about using that system, particularly after falling in love with the simplicity of BoL. So I wonder if anyone has any experience adapting BoL to that setting and its particularities. First issues coming to mind seem reasonably easy to deal with:
- Blending WFRP&BoL careers should be reasonably easy, turning special benefits of the former into boons in BoL. Career advancement would have to use similar xp costs/pace, and I am guessing WFRP careers could just replace BoL careers in spite of the many overlappings (the price of keeping the Career advancement features in WFRP my players like a lot).
- Magic, I am not very concerned about. I could live with a mix of lists and free-form magic, perhaps made more difficult in a setting where apparently magic is very formal.
- Conversion, I am not sure how to do it, but doesn't seem too difficult to accomplish, with some rule of thumb translation like WS:50 in WFRP becoming a +5 in to hit roll in BoL.
But then again, I am just starting to think about it and don't know WFRP that well, so if anyone has any experience that they want to share (pain points, how you did it, what you avoided....) it will be very welcome.

Thanks

Hi, I came across the following link, which talks about bezoars, stones that supposedly had the power to cure or prevent poisoning. I thought it was a cool idea that may well be used as a scenario idea, so I am sharing it witj you in case it is of interest for anyone:

Nope, but I sure would join a PBP game if it were not too fast-paced

Well obviously my previous post was embarrassing as I was not aware the sheet itself belonged to the Mythic edition, sorry about that . I was wondering if you have any version of this sheet that can be saved with values, as this version apparently doesn't.
Cheers

Indeed, I was wondering about this too. The way I understood, there were no changes in substance, but rather in the presentations available? A confirmation would be very welcome though.

Cool Finn!
The images have an oppressive touch that makes me wonder what's going on. Are you sending them underground after something? Last image is quite unsettling, whereas the rest do suggests you are making your players sweat quite a bit. Thanks for sharing your inspiration!

Hi Master Sutek,
I love this sheet, congrats and thanks for sharing your work. Overall, layout, design and the main font seem excellent, and I will decidedly use this for my BoL online games. I'd rate it a solid 9 out of 10!
As possible improvements I'd suggest:
- For new players, it'd be handy to have the Hero Points Use cheat sheet somewhere in the sheet, maybe even as a tooltip if you don't want to redo the layout (although I am not sure that feature is available in Adobe Reader).
- After downloading it and playing with it a bit, I understand what you mention about the input font. It seems a bit too big perhaps, and does stand out a bit against the main font. But I am afraid I cannot suggest a better one, I am rather clueless on that end.
- Maybe again related to input font size, but Name field seems a bit small: if a player wants to add a surname or a region of origin the whole text is not displayed and that is a bit annoying.
- The big free-text box below is cool and comes handy to throw in there any misc info players may want to add. I like the idea! However I think it'd be useful to have a separator in that box, so players can arrange details in two columns or so, if needed. I am not sure if that is technically possible, but I have the feeling it'd help to get the most use out of the limited space, which can get easily filled with just a few lines.

But as stated, I am impressed and think this is definitively the best editable BoL sheet I have seen so far.
Cheers!

As a bit of feedback, I guess this is the sort of thing authors can't easily check and you might appreciate to hear, as an owner of that edition I can say they did a great job. I guess the actual product is pretty much the same as the English edition, except perhaps for some very minor notes on how their playtesting went and suggestions on Hero Point recoveries. It is a humble production, with no luxury nonsense, plain b&w and full-color only in covers, but the overall feeling is that is a book edited with a lot of love and care, and at a reasonable price too (considering they probably run smallish prints). Particular kudos go for the translator Mateu Pastoret and his team, who did an excellent job. Being myself a translator I tend to be rather critical with some of the translations I see and this one, beyond one or two typos or inconsistencies, really has the right tone and freshness needed, not just letting readers know about Lemuria, but helping to bring it home entirely.
And no, for those who may wonder, this guy is not a relative of mine haha, but fair play to those who do their job right.
Cheers

Thanks GIT for the welcome and Gruntfuttock for the excellent advise. I had a look at G-Man's stuff and it looks excellent. As for the other post, I will sure check when I have a chance, as another of my weaknesses is actually Ancient Egypt. Now I guess it's about time I stop going off-topic in this welcome post . Thanks all for the welcome, be talking to you!

Cheers
