I started posting a spell a week over on my main website,
My goal is to, well, post a new spell (or a conversion of old ones) each week. I have a couple out there. Is this something anyone is interested in? If not, I won't bother folks here.Offline
Thanks for posting Marc, and welcome!
I'm sure people would be very interested in your spell a week post. We always need more spells!!
As I see from your site, you intend to use BoL to run your Sands of Sakhrat swords & sorcery kitchen sink campaign. As you are using BoL outside of Simon's Lemuria you might want to look at the Sword and Sorcery Codex. This is a supplement duel-statted for both BoL and Everywhen, and it's designed to help BoL and EW GMs run games outside of Lemuria - in fact it covers all the different styles of S&S and includes optional rules, expnaded magic rules, adventures, adventure seeds, etc. It might save you a lot of work.
I'm currently using it to run a campaign set in the Warlords of Atlantis setting written for the Barbaric rpg, using both BoL and the Codex. Take a look at the preview on DriveThru:

Thanks, Steve--yes, I have started looking at the Codex as well. I have been gathering spells (and other info as well) from there and other BoL sources where I can find them. It is helping me see what others have done to convert spells from other games or come up with their own. I do want to stick as close to the general theme or feel of BoL as I can--I really dig the vibe it has!

I think you might like what you see in the Codex magic section, but please feel free to ignore me - I'm a hopeless fanboy where that book is concerned. It may not be what you are after, so try to get a look at it before purchasing, if you can.
After doing a few S&S games with various BoL mechanics I've finally settled on BoL+Codex as the go-to for me for S&S games. (Although bits of EW and Dicey Tales do occasionally come into the mix, depending on what sort of setting it is.)

I know a few people here have adapted BoL to non-Lemurian settings - can any of you offer Marc some advice or thoughts?
