Re: Carpathia Update

A real pity.

Not only would I be running Carpathia as soon as I got my sweaty hands on it, but Dicey Tales Mythic would be most welcome.

I’m currently busy running the second ‘season’ of my Ancient Egyptian game using Mythic, but this morning I was re-reading one of REH’s El Borak stories, and didn’t I just start seeing the tale in BoL Mythic terms!

I'm re-reading the Gardner F. Fox "Kothar" series again.  I re-read it every few years, it's my favorite Sword & Sorcery series - yeah even more than REH Conan series http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/shocked.png

I originally read the Kothar series as a teenager back in the late 70s.  While reading it, I'm constantly trying to imagine how to do the story using BoL.

BoL = has most definitely become my go to RPG system.
Thanks Simon.

Re: Carpathia Update

FYI, my "BoL-ish Hack" houserule doc for running Carpathia games is a PDF on my blog.  Since it seems that Carpathia itself is DOA at this point, I may post some of the adventures I wrote for whoever is interested.
