Very late to the conversation but just want to support the view that Lassiter is a terrific movie; definitely one of Selleck's best and the movie is very udnerappreciated.

Not a movie, but a great resource for pulp-style shennigans, is Tales of the Gold Monkey. It still holds up and I recommend it to everyone who loves pulp.

I'm pretty happy with the rules as written TBH. One thing I did implement in my games a while back is combat specialisations. Basically, I grouped melee and ranged weapons. As characters gain points in melee and ranged combat they choose a group of weapons they are skilled with. If they use weapons they are not skilled with they can either suffer -2 or a disadvantage (GM choice).

I also use And/But dice in the games to add extra elements to combat.

Regarding magic, someone shared a document listing a massive amount of spells for BoL. I know I still have it on one of my HDDs somewhere. Message me if you'd like a copy.

It's been a while since I've visited the forums and I have to say, these are excellent. These will work particularly well in Honor + Intrigue games. Great job!

Honestly, as someone who previously backed the failed Carrion Lands Backerkit, and someone who downloaded the early version from DriveThru, and someone who has backed other Gallant Knight projects such as Zorro and D6 2nd Ed, it really would've been nice to have received an email about the KS. Loyalty does go both ways.
